Get your notebook ready!
  • Cleaning method: Vacuum Clean & Brushing

  • Tools & cleaners: Small brush, toothbrush (old, of course!), towel/rag, baking soda, dish soap, bucket (for warm water)

  • Cleaning process:

1. Clear any debris present in the area, such as kids’ toys, nails, pins, pet fur, etc.

2. Vacuum clean the carpet area for removing any existing dirt & dust.

3. Use 1 tbsp of dish soap for 6-8 inches of stain. Or, sprinkle a little baking soda on the stain (covering all stains).

4. Surf around the area to see some bubbles. Use the tools (toothbrush/ brush/rag/towel) for gently scrubbing the stained area with warm water.

5. Use water in a controlled manner, not mistaking it to soak or spill. The less the water you use, the quicker the drying process turns.

6. Allow the carpet to dry (switch on fans & open the windows).

7. Vacuum clean again after the carpet dries out.

This isn’t hard stuff, is it? Well, you can give a try at least.

Compared to cheap bond cleaning, this process is easy to do. But, you can also have a look out for a professional in case you don’t witness pleasing results.
